Dawn of the Dead was a remake of a very famous Zombie film of the same name and Zack Snyder was given the task to bring it to life. This was also Zack Snyder's first movie and to be honest we did not know at this point what Snyder has in store for us. The directing style of Snyder which he had developed wasn't around with Dawn of the Dead. However, a strong script with pretty great performance makes up for a good watch and being Snyder's debut should hold nostalgic value.
Cast- Gerard Butler, Lena Headey
Speaking of the directing style which Snyder developed, it would probably be because of 300. This in many ways would shape up Zack Snyder's career and visual storyline which serves well with his present film such as Justice League. 300 was jam packed with VFX and well executed action; also the biggest credit the film has for itself is making an action star out of Gerard Butler. 300 and the testament to Snyder's vision is that the film's sequel titled as Rise of an Empire wasn't able to strike the same chord as Snyder's 300.

Arguably the biggest movie which ruffled many feather for Snyder would be Batman v Superman. Seen as a mega event and a sure shot blockbuster that the film didn't have any problems going against Captain America Civil War which had a similar premise. Snyder delivered a film true to his way of filmmaking and in all honesty a film which sets itself apart from the comic book films which came out around the same time. Unfortunately, the film received polarizing reviews which eventually led Warner Bros. making to decision to make Justice League Theatrical version a little more light.
2. Watchmen (2009)
Cast- Patrick Wilson, Malin Akerman, Billy Crudup
Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice polarized fans but Watchmen was the movie that pushed Zack Snyder into handling DC Films for a time span of more than 5 years. Watchmen too has a different version, there's theatrical version and later released Director's Cut which received more praises. Watchmen was also a very well established IP which Zack Snyder had to adapt and adapt he did. Certain scenes, characters and visuals have such memorable moments that anyone can tell you what movie one is playing. Do I need to speak about Watchmen Opening Sequence at all?

Zack Snyder's Justice League saw him redeem himself and with him many actors like Ben Affleck and Jared Leto who were long gone from the franchise. Justice League which nearly runs for 4 hours was finally released in 2021 but it was what the fans wanted, the same fans who petitioned for its release for almost 3 years.
Zack Snyder packed Justice League with additional scenes and dedicated the movie to his daughter Autumn for whom he had left the movie back in 2017. However, Snyder's effort has yet caught people attention to making Restore the Snyderverse trend.

Zack Snyder is a director who has been working just over a decade but has made some huge progress when it comes to developing his own Directing Style and has also satisfied the box office. Even though his critics are very vocal, one can't deny the sheer entertainment that Zack Snyder's films have given fans over time.
