Chacha Vidhayak Hai Humare is the recent Prime Video release created by Zahir Khan which is soaring high on the word of mouth amongst his massive fan base.
The show has a season 1 which was released back in 2018 where the plot for Chacha Vidhayak Hai Humare follows Ronny played by Zahir Khan taking advantage of his name similar to that of a local MLA. Chacah Vidhayak Hai Humare has an amazing casy which involves tge likes of Zakir Khan as Ronny and sees the likes of Vyom Sharma as Anwar Kumar, Varun as Kranti, Venus Singh as Avantika, Zakir Hussain as Rajesh, Alka Amin as Amrita, Abhimanyu Singh as Chachaji return; And Onima Kashyap as Tanvi for Season 2.
Chacha Vidhayak Hai Humare A Political Comedy
However the first season was purely based on the joke Chacha Vidhayak Hai Humare which translates to, my Uncle is the local MLA so don't mess with me; the second season takes a 180 degree and presents itself as a proper political drama which has some fun introspection on the Indian election circuit. As I have mentioned the first show felt like a proper spin on the title and to be honest wasn't too memorable so and no one thought it would receive a second season. Now, it was a welcome change to shift the show into a more political arena whilst maintaining the satirical nature of Ronnie's antics. The show establishes more of Zakir's Sakht Launda Philosophy and ventures into Ronnie friendship with Anwar and Kranti.
The show comes into a different element when it approaches political drama to an extent that it feels disjointed from the other storylines in the series. However, the tit for tat nature of Ronnie, Pathak and Vicky are explored so well, with key antidotes mentioned well either by script or by references which are very common in Bollywood storytelling.
Chacha Vidhayak Hai Humare is very non political when it comes to the current state of Indian Politics but has a fair share to say about an overall common man's perspective. The show doesn't seem to be landing in any troubles so I guess the job was well executed by the makers and Zahir Khan.Chacha Vidhayak Hai Humare Easy to Binge
With only 8 Episodes which ran about Half Hour each, Chacha Vidhayak Hai Humare is an easy to Binge show which is made more enjoyable with its light hearted nature and Zakir's undoubtedly charisma.
The Episodes are not standalone episodes but are jointed over story which feels more layered out as the show goes along. Every character has their own memorable scenes ranging from Dramatic to Comedic.
The ending of the show leaves you wanting for more but it'll be interesting to see what the makers decided whether to renew Chacha Vidhayak Hai Humare for Season 3 or not!
The Binge Flix Conclusion Chacha Vidhayak Hai Humare
A second season of the show no one wanted, but it surprised me with how different it was to the first whilst maintaining the charm of a low budget light hearted coherent series.
Zakir Khan is great at what he knows best comedy but nails his scenes when it comes to drama, it mostly attributes to his storyteller nature of comedy.
The show is available on Amazon Prime Video.
