Top 5 Michael Bay Films

We love action movies, to see ass kicked and big buildings blow up is a tradition as old as that Bruce Willis Movie which made him a star.

Although, Die Hard is a good action film which serves natural moments of exposition in it's script, over the years there area number of action films which have graced the silver screen and have had huge profits with nothing of substance added to their explosive action Sequences.

One major source of Churning out these kinds of action Movies is a director known to many by the name of Michael Bay. Even though his films are known for all the wrong reasons, one can't ignore him as Michael Bay has developed a style of his own over the years which deserve some kind of appreciation.

Let’s go through some Bayhem as we list Michael Bay’s Top 5 Films

5. Transformers

A movie about Alien Robots fighting with other Alien robots could be a weird allegory for immigration laws but that's a completely different conversation.

Michael Bay Directed this first ever live action adaptation of Transformers which opened to Box office success and was so successful to spawn an entire franchise of Alien Robots kicking other Alien Robots, even though the plot stayed the same throughout all the movies.

4. Bad Boys 2

A movie which opens up with Martin Lawrence and Will Smith shooting up a KKK members deserved Oscar Recognition, no? Is it just me?

This Sequel to Bad Boys which basically helped Michael Bay and Will Smith launch themselves into stardom, also you Martim Lawrence. The movie has incredible action Sequences, Hot Sister and with that Michael Bay keeps getting more work.

3. Island

Island is a very Underrated movie from Michael Bay as it has multiple scenes in the first two acts which helps the audience understand the world and our two leads chemistry played by Ewan McGregor and Scarlett Johansson is at full display.

And after an hour into the movie, Michael Bay puts back his action hat and gives audience what they actually want from a movie directed by him. The 3rd act sees our two characters go through non-stop of action Sequences executed in that Michael Bay esque style.

4. 6 Underground

6 Underground is the latest Michael Bay movie which saw another Hollywood Director go to Netflix for the sake of artistic authenticity.

With 6 Underground bay leaves the Transformer Franchise behind and makes a movie very much in style of the late Tony Scott.

6 Underground has incredibly diverse Characters but no Character arcs which honestly are replaced with Action Sequences worth 90 Million US Dollars, yup that was the budget.

Wonder what John Wick would do with a budget like that!?

1. 13 Hours

13 Hours saw Michael Bay attempt action while also maintaining heartfelt Character Moments which are absent fr his other work.

13 Hours is also a true story which no one who have seen Bay's Filmography could have anticipated, that he'd be able to deliver.

13 Hours did have Michael Bay Moments like shooting a good looking human with no clothes, wink wink John Krasinski. Seriously, we wouldn't be having Jack Ryan if it wasn't for Michael Bay.
