The Suicide Squad Trailer is out and I don't know what to say about it. The Suicide Squad is a sequel and a soft reboot to DC's Suicide Squad from back in 2016. This Suicide Squad, the one is question is directed by Guardians of the Galaxy fame James Gunn and sees the team follow one more Suicide Mission led by Viola Davis's Amanda Waller

Now we all know what happened last time when Warner Bros hired a Marvel Director to helm a DC Project, but while watching the trailer for The Suicide Squad and the fact that the first film didn't make the impact that it did, James Gunn direction looks solid and much better matches with the tone and style of the film.
The Suicide Squad is a crazy idea which is that a group of criminals hired by the authorities to do their work and if they don't their heads are blown up. This needs that meta energy which James Gunn brings to the table.
Speaking of the plot much isn't revealed but the Cast is stellar. James Gunn has managed to bring Sylvester Stallone over to ten DC Extended Universe, he plays King Shark and frankly I'd have loved to see his face but it's alright.
John Cena's Peacemaker is definitely the one which stood out in the Trailer and one can see why HBO Max would give him specifically a show based on his characters past. Nothing bad can ever be written about Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn and Bloodsport which in many ways is a rip off of Will Smith's Deadshot seems like a different character when played by Idris Alba.
The Binge Flix Conclusion The Suicide Squad Trailer
The quality of the trailer doesn't speak directly about the film, this we know because of Suicide Squad (2016). So final thoughts which are the one to matter will only be received once The Suicide Squad is out.
However, this looks pretty fun. James Gunn having been the guy behind MCU's Cosmic side and this sneak peak into DC's The Suicide Squad looks capable enough to manage both spectrum. Of course he needs to get back on directing Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 after The Suicide Squad.
